AUTO AC & HEATING REPAIR

Car heating and Air Conditioning Repair

Whether you are driving in the heat of summer or cold of winter, you certainly wish to be comfortable. That is why A+ Muffler Shop’s trained professionals can provide necessary maintenance checks on both your car’s heating and air conditioning systems.

The heating and cooling system starts in the front of the car with the radiator, which holds coolant. Several hoses and fittings connect the radiator to a water pump, thermostat, heater core, fan, fan clutch and condenser as well as belts, sensors and hoses.

Normal wear and tear in a system requires an annual maintenance check. Our trained technicians will inspect and diagnose both the heating and cooling systems and will repair or replace the necessary components.

Our technician will inspect the system including the hoses for pressure and fluid leakage. If the fluid level is low in the radiator, more refrigerant will be added to maintain the level required. A complete radiator flush consists of a total drain and refill of the radiator including the necessary sealant and lubricant.

Your air conditioning system has two sides: the low side and the high side. The compressor begins at the high side and works like a pump that moves the refrigerant through the system. The low side has an expansion valve that restricts the flow of the refrigerant to lower the pressure and temperature of the refrigerant. The refrigerant is referred to as Freon.

Beyond the normal wear and tear, your vehicle will give you signals that something needs attention. The signal could be that your vehicle is not getting as warm or as cool as usual. Also, any rattling or clunky noises mean something is not right. Even though the system may be sealed properly, some leaking can occur.

Our well-trained technicians are ready to help you feel comfortable again in your vehicle and get you back on the road as soon as possible.
